We publish non-fiction that engages with life, experience, history, art, identity, and ideas. Much of our non-fiction is personal or essayistic, but it can also document, interpret, and recontextualize research and lived experience. We value writing that is thoughtful and beautifully made, whether quiet and personal or experimental in form. Non-fiction is a way of interacting with the world—and finding new ways to tell its stories.
